Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality electronic components, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing and assembly of precision electronic products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and a proactive communicator, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Bedford, MA

Pay Range: $18-$21

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings accurately.
  • Use hand tools properly and safely to assemble products according to quality standards.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of products, ensuring high quality and productivity levels.
  • Solder cables, wires, and through-hole devices within acceptable quality limits.
  • Inspect products and identify non-conformances, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial assembly or related field.
  • Experience with opto-electronics and PCB components is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, soldering techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with ISO, IPC, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
