Position Overview:

As an Assembler, you will support the Operations team in performing a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a key part in building, assembling, and testing precision components and sub-assemblies in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on parts and sub-assemblies
  • Follow defined methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harness assembly
  • Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining tight tolerances according to blueprint and specification requirements
  • Conduct testing of equipment and assembled products as required
  • Operate wash stations to clean parts and assemblies
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with manufacturing and safety standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 0 1 year of related experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, blueprints, and work procedures
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, or remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent use of hands for precise mechanical and assembly tasks
  • Ability to position self and work with objects at varying heights (below, at, and above shoulder level)
  • Visual ability to inspect close-range details and documentation
  • Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information clearly
  • Work in a manufacturing or laboratory environment with exposure to standard industrial conditions
  • Operate computers and production equipment as needed
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols, including handling mechanical/electrical components and potential exposure to industrial materials

Work Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:40 PM - 12:10 AM
