Mechanical Assembler

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly and testing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Bedford, MA

Pay Range: $20 - $24 an hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

• Assemble and test components to create finished products according to specifications
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the assembly process
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify and report issues or defects in the production process
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or related field
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions in English
• Strong mechanical abilities with high precision and attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills
