Our client is hiring a Quality Supervisor thatoversees the daily quality assurance activities of the plant and is the key environmental contact. The positionsupports ISO, HARA, and BRCGS requirements, continuous improvement activities, quality incidentinvestigations, data collection/review/analysis, KPI Management and reporting, and any other activities asassigned by the Quality Manager.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

  • Analyze non-conforming data according to the specifications and the sampling plan, checks not executed, and drive corrective actions as well as feedback production department promptly to close the alarms.
  • Perform daily quality records review as the third level of the continuous verification process as required. Support production on process control parameters and defect catalogue application.
  • Lead the HFI process and report to include documentation, NCR record, production accounting, disposition, rework activities, AQL or sampling.
  • Participate and assists production and provides feedback to personnel in troubleshooting and root cause identification for Customer Claims, sub-standard production, on-hold, HFI inventory, and defects in conjunction with production and other departments.
  • Maintain and develop quality function documentation such as forms, instructions, and training guides, checklists, as well as the records for BRCGS and ISO compliance in accordance with record retention policies & requirements.
  • Provide the training -maintaining records- and work instructions as required to Quality Technicians and/or Operators.
  • Attain and maintain proficiency and qualification in all quality testing.
  • Support ISO and BRCGS initiatives through creation, implementation, verification, and audits of procedures and training to meet certification.
  • Assist in developing responses and correction implementation to any audit findings.
  • Establish and maintain 5S and a high level of housekeeping standards.
  • Lead Quality Technicians and/or MLT Operators including scheduling, time and attendance, policy and procedure administration, and documentation in all areas of responsibility.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Associate Degree or equivalent Technical School Degree/Certification or relevant experience
  • Demonstrate ability in administering and leading Quality activities
  • Experience in understanding and executing quality policies, systems, and procedures
  • Working knowledge of SPC
  • Experience with BRCGS auditing procedures is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication and training skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent people skills, high energy and positive cultural fit and attitude
  • Ability to solve complex problems outside of normal processes
  • Shall be fully conversant in Food Safety, GMP's, and HARA Principle
