Job Summary:
- Interview patients and collect demographic, financial, and insurance information, ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
- Establish and maintain patient records, including insurance allocation details and insurance code identification.
- Obtain required patient consents, authorizations, and documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
- Verify insurance information and assist with registration-related inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls and assisting patients with questions and concerns.
- Coordinate with departmental scheduling teams to support appointment and registration needs.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Utilize computer systems and healthcare software to manage patient information efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient service.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of patient registration, clerical, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask, maintain accuracy, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional business casual appearance and demeanor.
