- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineer, Robotics or similar.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and Parametric Modeling
- Strong understanding of mechatronics and machine design fundamentals.
- Understanding of industrial controls and how mechanical decision impact the system.
- System level thinking and understanding.
- Ability to read and write technical documents.
- Strong communications skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications Bonus:
- Experience with Python, C++, or PLC Programming
- Electrical Controls Experience.
- Operational environment exposure (Industrial/Manufacturing/Theme Park)
- Hands on mechatronics projects either personal or professional.

Description/Comment:We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team working on our mechatronics team. You will own the day-to-day mechanical execution of a mechatronics project and work alongside other engineers who will provide guidance and oversight. Strong candidates will have experience building and designing mechatronic systems and who are self-starters in unstructured work.
Responsibilities:
- Own mechanical assembly, parts procurement, and system integration.
- Perform comprehensive testing and validation of mechatronic systems.
- Read and modify mechanical drawings and assemblies in Solidworks.
- Create and maintain technical documents and reports including (SOPs, Maintenance Manuals, etc)
- Take initiative and ownership of mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
- Communicate clearly with the team and escalating issues when required.
- Maintain flexible work schedule including third shifts when required.
