Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented entry-level professional to support daily production operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing. The successful candidate will assist with operating production machinery, monitoring output quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This is a 3rd shift opportunity located in Elmira, NYa city known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, and vibrant community.

Schedule

Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery according to work instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Load and unload materials, parts, or products.
  • Monitor machine performance and report issues or malfunctions.
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Measure parts using basic inspection tools as required.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas (5S practices).
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.
  • Technical or vocational training (a plus, not required).
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools or measuring devices.
