Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented entry-level professional to support daily production operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing. The successful candidate will assist with operating production machinery, monitoring output quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This is a 3rd shift opportunity located in Elmira, NYa city known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, and vibrant community.
ScheduleTuesday to Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Operate production machinery according to work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Load and unload materials, parts, or products.
- Monitor machine performance and report issues or malfunctions.
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Measure parts using basic inspection tools as required.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas (5S practices).
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.
- Technical or vocational training (a plus, not required).
- Familiarity with basic hand tools or measuring devices.
