About the Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Senior React Developer to join our engineering team and play a pivotal role in the technical evolution of our web platforms. In this role, you will not just be shipping features you will take part in rebuilding and modernizing our web codebase, driving it toward higher performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability. You will collaborate cross-functionally, implement technical initiatives, and help define what great frontend engineering looks like at our organization.

What You'll Do

• Take part in the architectural design, development, and maintenance of high-quality, consumer-facing React web applications
• Drive approved refactoring and modernization efforts, establishing best practices and ensuring consistent, high-quality code delivery
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code
• Lead code reviews and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to your peers
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, raising the technical bar across the team
• Optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks related to rendering, bundle size, network efficiency, and Core Web Vitals
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and QA Engineers to align technical execution with product goals and deliver a world-class user experience
• Contribute to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and overall development lifecycle to increase team velocity
• Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, and technical decision-making

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on React development for consumer-facing web applications
• Expert-level proficiency in React, including core principles, hooks, component lifecycle, and performance optimization techniques
• Strong command of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+), with a deep understanding of modern language features and patterns
• Proven experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX
• Solid understanding of CSS-in-JS, CSS Modules, or utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js or similar frameworks
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tooling
• Strong understanding of web performance principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright
• Strong verbal and written communication skills able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with monorepo tooling such as Nx or Turborepo
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture patterns
• Knowledge of Web Components or design system development
• Experience with analytics and observability tooling (e.g., LogRocket, Datadog, GTM)
• Contributions to open-source React or frontend projects
