- Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers.
- Oversee design, development, and implementation of automation and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Ensure standardization and best practices in controls engineering.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies for improved performance and efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and support system upgrades.
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on project support as needed.
- 5+ years of experience as a senior-level controls engineer in the automation field
- Extensive project management and leadership experience with controls engineering technologies, IT/OT environments, and automation software
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and/or Schneider industrial PLC platforms
- Experience with project, fiscal and personnel management
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development concepts within automation environments
- Ability to optimize resources and drive efficiency across multiple projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
