Sr Feature Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reusable feature pipelines and collaborating closely with our Data Science and ML Engineering teams.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL programming
• Experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Spark or Flink
• Strong understanding of feature engineering, data modeling, and feature stores
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Hopsworks, Feast, or SageMaker
• Prior work experience in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong problem-solving and optimization mindset

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and implement feature pipelines (batch and real-time)
• Develop complex feature transformations and data modeling logic
• Optimize feature performance, latency, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with teams to align features with use cases
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
