Lead Feature Engineer

Location:Pittsburgh, PA

Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to define and drive our feature engineering strategy and roadmap. This role will be pivotal in establishing standards, governance, and best practices for reusable features, and leading the design of enterprise feature architecture and pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Deep expertise in feature engineering architecture and pipelines.
• Advanced understanding of feature stores and ML platforms.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data systems.
• Strong understanding of ML lifecycle and feature reuse strategy.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with scalable architecture design (batch real-time features).
• Experience with end-to-end platform integration (CI/CD, pipelines, feature store).
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and standardization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of feature engineering backlog and priorities.
• Ensure alignment across Feature Engineering, Platform, and Data Science teams.
• Manage and mentor Senior Feature Engineers and Feature Engineers.
