Shipping Supervisor 2nd Shift

We are looking for a2ndshift Shipping Supervisorto join our team! This person willbe responsible foroverseeing the second shift shipping team and ensuring all customer orders are packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment accurately, safely, and efficiently. This position supervises daily packaging operations,maintainsshipping documentation,monitorsdepartment performance, and works closely with production to ensure completed products are prepared and staged for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.

Requirements

WhatYoullDo:

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

• Supervise and support shipping personnel during second-shift operations.

• Ensure customer orders are packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment accurately and on time.

• Verify order accuracy, quantities, labeling, and packaging requirements prior to shipment.

• Ensure all products are packaged according to company, customer, and carrier specifications.

• Monitor daily shipping activities tomaintainquality, productivity, and efficiency standards.

• Maintainaccurateshipping records and prepare reports for management asrequired.

• Troubleshoot shipping discrepancies, packaging issues, and customer concerns when necessary.

• Manage proof of delivery and shipping documentation.

• Assistwith and supervise loading activities to ensure products are handled safely and securely.

• Operate and oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment asrequired.

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks.

• Coordinate with production personnel to ensure finished goods are packaged and prepared for shipmentin a timely manner.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.

• Monitor packaging material inventory and communicate supply needs to management.

• Train employees on packaging procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and shipping processes.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Assistinidentifyingand implementing process improvements to enhance packaging efficiency, order accuracy, and workplace safety.

• Prepare andsubmitshipping, inventory, and equipment reports asrequired.

• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Who You Are:

• Previoussupervisory experience in shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or packaging operations preferred.

• Strong understanding of packaging, shipping preparation, and warehouse operations.

• Ability to lead employees andmaintaina productive work environment.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and order accuracy.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Must have strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to follow all safety regulations and company policies.

• Goodtime-managementand decision-making skills.

• May occasionally berequiredto handle items weighingin excess of50 pounds.

• Forklift certification and material handling experience preferred.
