Material Handler

Werelooking for a talentedMaterial Handlerto join our dynamic team and help us craft high-quality products.You willberesponsible forthe safe and efficient movement of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility. This position supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are delivered to theappropriate locations, inventory ismaintainedaccurately, and products are handled safely and efficiently. The Material Handleroperatesforklifts and other material handling equipment whilemaintaininga clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

WhatYoullDo:

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

• Transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.

• Supply production departments with materials as needed tomaintainefficient workflow.

• Remove completed products from production areas and stage them for shipping or storage.

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products using forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Verify material quantities and product identification to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Conduct routine inventory checks andassistwith cycle counts asrequired.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and report discrepancies to management.

• Maintainaccuraterecords of material movements and inventory transactions.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.

• Ensure materials are storedproperlyand inventorylocationsremainorganized.

• Assistwith loading shipments and preparing products for shipment as needed.

• Maintain clean work areas and follow established housekeeping standards.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.

• Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns to supervisors.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.

• Other duties as assigned by Management

Who You Are:

• Previousexperience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or material handling operations preferred.

• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certificationrequired.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practicespreferred.

• Abilityto safelyoperatematerialhandling equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational andtime-managementskills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to follow all safety regulations and company policies.

• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count inventory.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• May occasionally berequiredto lift, carry, push, or pull items weighingin excess of50 pounds.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
