Sr Electrical Engineer

Location: Lafayette, CO (Onsite 4 days/week)
Duration: 24 Months
Pay: $55$60/hr

Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for mixed-signal medical device design, validation, and compliance, supporting surgical products (energy generators, lung health, GYN).

• Mixed-signal board design (end-to-end: schematic PCB validation)
• Medical device compliance (IEC 60601)
• Hardware testing, debugging & reliability engineering
• Signal integrity & circuit analysis
• Test method development & validation

• Design and develop mixed-signal circuits and PCB systems
• Perform design verification, testing, and debugging using lab equipment
• Ensure regulatory compliance (IEC 60601)
• Support component obsolescence & redesign activities
• Develop technical specs, schematics, and test protocols
• Analyze customer complaints & drive design improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, manufacturing)
• Contribute to project planning, risk mitigation, and timelines

• OrCAD (schematic & PCB design)
• Oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic/network analyzers

• Bachelors + 4+ years (or Masters + 2+ years)
• Medical device experience required
• Experience with regulated environments and safety standards

• Onsite (4 days/week + 1 flex day)
• 40 hours/week
