Job Purpose
NYSE Texas is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Senior Facilities Coordinator to support a fast-paced and growing office. This role manages daily workplace operations to ensure an efficient, well-maintained office and a high-quality customer and employee experience.
The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Workplace Operations
- Conduct daily office walkthroughs; maintain cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory and restock office and kitchen supplies
- Order supplies, process purchase orders, and track deliveries
- Set up and break down meeting rooms, including food and beverage support
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support office events and special projects as needed
- Facilities & Vendor Management
- Respond to and resolve facility-related requests and issues
- Coordinate service calls, maintenance, and repairs
- Escort and supervise vendors and contractors onsite
- Maintain relationships with building management and service providers
- Perform light troubleshooting and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Employee & Office Support
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Multimedia, Events, and other internal teams
- Coordinate new hire setups (workstations, supplies) and office moves
- Assist with reception duties, including greeting guests and phone coverage
- Manage mail, packages, and deliveries
Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years of facilities, office operations, or related experience
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Service-oriented with a proactive, can-do approach
- Flexible to support occasional after-hours or weekend needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/move supplies (up to ~30 lbs)
