Oxford Solutions is working with an engineering client seeking a Data Management Coordinator for a short-term onsite contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills and experience supporting data management, documentation, reporting, and workflow tracking activities.
The successful candidate will help maintain and optimize business management system data while ensuring the accuracy and organization of critical project and operational information. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update business management system databases and related records
- Track documentation, project actions, and workflow activities
- Coordinate action item scheduling and follow-up activities
- Support escalation tracking and issue management processes
- Generate reports and provide data analysis using Excel
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Assist with process documentation and data management initiatives
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to reporting and workflow management
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 7 years of professional data management experience; OR
- Associate Degree and 3 years of professional data management experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
- Experience supporting data-focused projects, documentation control, workflow tracking, or reporting activities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, technical, or project-based environment is preferred
