Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (No On-Call/Pager Duty)
Role Overview
As an integral part of our Analytics team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to improve decision-making within the merchandising and planning process. We are looking for a candidate with a high degree of business curiosity and the technical prowess to uncover impactful insights. You will communicate these findings in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive significant business value.
A Day in the Life
- Stakeholder Partnership:Collaborate with key business partners to define and solve complex data analysis problems.
- Data Mining:Mine behavioral data and transform it into actionable information for the merchandising team.
- Advanced Analytics:Apply statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to answer strategic questions for the online business.
- Visualization:Use advanced techniques to communicate technical solutions to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence:Demonstrate ownership and initiative while delivering high-quality results in an efficient manner.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Domain Expertise:Proven experience within theRetail Domainspecifically involvingFinance-related retail information.
- Technical Stack:Proficiency inPythonandTypeScript.
- Cloud & Data:Hands-on experience withData PipelinesandGCP (Google Cloud Platform).
- AI Literacy:A solid understanding ofAI conceptsand their application in data analytics.
- Location:Candidates must already be local toSeattle. (No relocation candidates will be considered).
- Education:Quantitative degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience:3+ years of corporate data analysis experience specifically inRetail Analytics.
- Database Skills:Strong, expert-level experience withSQL.
- Tools:Familiarity with BI tools such asPowerBIorLooker.

- Communication:Ability to translate complex data results into clear narratives for non-experts.
