This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, blending high-level executive assistance with light project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of coordination for the department, driving operational efficiency, managing complex logistics, and maintaining a polished and professional office environment.

Biogen is seeking a proactive and highly capable Executive Assistant to serve as a strategic partner to the Leadership Team (LT). This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, blending high-level executive assistance with light project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of coordination for the department, driving operational efficiency, managing complex logistics, and maintaining a polished and professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Oversee and manage complex, high-volume Outlook calendars, proactively resolving conflicts and prioritizing critical engagements.
- Travel & Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and efficient scheduling for leadership.
- Financial Operations: Administer the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (POs) and Scopes of Work (SOWs), including tracking, processing, and supporting timely budget reporting.
- Digital Workspace Management: Maintain and enhance SharePoint and OneDrive platforms to ensure organized, accessible, and up-to-date team resources.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with Corporate Meetings and Congress teams to support large-scale events and leadership meetings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive administrative experience, ideally within a corporate or biotech environment.
- Education: Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and OneDrive.
- Core Competencies: Highly organized, solution-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and interact effectively with senior leadership.
