Pay: $55.00 - $65.00/hr;W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:
The Test Systems Support Engineer is responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and coordinating the repair of manufacturing test systems and test tooling used at production sites. This role focuses on identifying root causes of equipment issues, supporting repair activities, and driving improvements to ensure reliable and efficient test operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze test system or test tooling issues reported by manufacturing sites, review failure modes, and define appropriate repair processes.
- Troubleshoot and repair test systems and test tooling, including electronic diagnostics at the component level.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend design or process improvements to increase system reliability and performance.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and define necessary changes to testing equipment, configurations, or testing procedures
- Coordinate and manage repair activities with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Track repair progress, ensure timely resolution of issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the process.
- Document failure analysis, repair actions, and improvement recommendations to support continuous improvement of test systems.
Top 3 technical skills that are required for the role:
- Troubleshooting and repairing test systems and test tooling. Identify root cause and propose design improvements (electronic at component level)
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures. Manage the test system repair with our stakeholder and suppliers
- Medical device & electronic manufacturing support experience
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex test system and manufacturing equipment issues in a production environment
- Analyze test data and determine required improvements to test equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or new test requirements.
- Lead and own test system redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, develop, and implement test methods, fixtures, and automated test equipment.
- Plan and coordinate resources, including personnel, schedules, software, and equipment, to support test system improvements
- As a subject matter expert support the development and deployment of new test systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Min 3years relevant system testing experience
- Medical Device industry / manufacturing supportexperience highly preferred
- NI LabVIEW certification highly preferred
