Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Program Manager Infrastructure Governance
Vulnerability Management
to lead enterprise governance, program management, executive reporting, and cross-functional coordination across infrastructure and technology initiatives.
The role will support governance of infrastructure risk reduction initiatives, including vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and patch compliance programs. The successful candidate should be familiar with vulnerability management operating models and have prior experience managing remediation-focused programs in enterprise environments.
This role is primarily focused on strong PMO leadership and execution discipline, ensuring complex programs are well governed, milestones are achieved, risks are actively managed, and leadership has clear visibility into progress, issues, and decisions required.
The successful candidate will bring exceptional organizational rigor, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to drive accountability across multiple teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Exposure to infrastructure operations, technology risk, and remediation programs is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
PMO Governance
Program Leadership
Lead end-to-end program governance for infrastructure and enterprise technology initiatives.
Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and status reporting.
Establish governance cadence including weekly operating reviews, monthly leadership reviews, and steering committees.
Manage RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and drive timely resolution.
Ensure programs remain on track for scope, timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
Executive Reporting
Communications
Prepare executive dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and concise status updates for senior leadership.
Highlight key decisions required, emerging risks, blockers, and mitigation actions.
Translate complex operational updates into business-friendly executive communication.
Support leadership meetings with clear materials, action capture, and follow-up discipline.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate workstreams across infrastructure teams, application teams, cybersecurity, vendors, PMO, audit, and business stakeholders.
Drive ownership and accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.
Facilitate decision-making and remove blockers impacting delivery timelines.
Ensure commitments and action items are tracked through closure.
Controls, Risk
Operational Support
Support governance for patching, remediation, lifecycle, risk reduction, and operational readiness programs as required.
Coordinate audit requests, evidence collection, control reporting, and compliance milestones.
Maintain visibility into key operational risks and escalate where needed.
Vulnerability Management
Risk Governance
Support governance of enterprise vulnerability management and remediation programs across infrastructure domains.
Track closure of critical and high-risk findings in alignment with agreed timelines and priorities.
Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, and cybersecurity teams on remediation actions and patch cycles.
Maintain dashboards for aging vulnerabilities, remediation progress, SLA adherence, and key risk themes.
Escalate overdue items, ownership gaps, and material exposure risks through established governance channels.
Continuous Improvement
Improve PMO processes, reporting standards, governance models, and program controls.
Introduce best practices that enhance transparency, speed, and execution discipline.
Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve stakeholder experience.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, enterprise governance, or large-scale project delivery.
Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream programs in enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in:
Program planning and execution
RAID management
Executive reporting
Stakeholder management
Governance forums and steering committees
Cross-functional coordination
Working knowledge of vulnerability management lifecycle concepts, remediation prioritization, and control governance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Good To Have
Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology organizations.
Familiarity with IT delivery models and service management environments.
Experience in regulated industries such as financial services preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Jira, ServiceNow or similar tools.
PMP, PgMP, Scrum, or related certifications preferred.
