Job Description:
- The Warehouse Specialist - Finished Goods plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within our solar manufacturing facility.
- This position is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, components, and finished products.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments aProductst packing slips or purchase orders.
- Accurately label and store materials in designated locations, maintaining clear and orderly inventory records.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to minimize discrepancies.
- Prepare materials and products for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and palletizing.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers or distribution centers.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery to support manufacturing schedules.
- Report damaged or defective materials to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety guidelines to create a secure work environment.
- Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management are a plus.
- 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to [50 lbs.] and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
- Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
- This is not solely a forklift driver position.
