Introduction

Join our dynamic team as a Platform Engineering Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in software development and cloud platforms to build and manage scalable applications. We are seeking a versatile developer with a strong foundation in Java or Python and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in software development using Java or Python
• 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc
• 3 years of experience building microservices and REST APIs
• 2 years of experience with data pipelines and streaming technologies such as Apache Beam and Kafka
• Experience with full-stack development, including React/Node.js or similar technologies
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Terraform, and cloud deployments
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Python, along with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based data pipelines and microservices using GCP tools
• Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and microservices for real-time and batch processing on GCP
• Implement service-oriented architecture and microservices-based solutions
• Collaborate with data architects, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to define best practices
