Title: Material Handler
Location: Houston TX
Pay rate: $18.00 - 24.00/hour, depending on experience.
Overtime: Possible, estimated 0 - 10 hours/week, not guaranteed.

Job Code: (phone number removed) The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process. * Issue and transfer parts for production. * Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required. * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Experience and Skills
Minimum 2 years of materials management experience required.
SAP experience is required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills required. Ideal candidate is self-directed and proactive.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. (Training will be provided.)

Length of Assignment
6 months.
Potential for extension or conversion to full-time.

Work Environment
80% warehouse/shop, 20% desk.
Not climate-controlled.
Fast-paced and dynamic.

Training
NEST in Houston.

Shift/Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 16:30.
Occasional weekend work may be required.
