Material Handler Night Shift

Job Description

Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential

Night Shift starts: 6:00 pm, hours may vary depending on operations

This is a position with potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.

The Material Handler position has the capability of operating forklifts, cranes and other mechanical material handling equipment. Other areas could be crate/production assembly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damageAssist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintaining a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
