Sr Network Engineer

a
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent experience in a network engineering field
a
Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience required
a
Strong understanding of BGP and ISIS routing protocols
a
Good understanding of Transport technologies
a
Knowledge of the OSI reference model
a
Core competencies include interpersonal, communications (written
verbal), and presentation skills
a
Ability to manage multiple commitments simultaneously
a
Ability to plan for work during network maintenance windows and the willingness to perform shift work
a
Proven ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
