Material Handler
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the movement, handling, and storage of materials in our cGMP manufacturing environment. This onsite, entry-level position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. The role focuses on accurate material handling, basic inventory tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to internal departments as requested.
- Assist with maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
- Perform basic inventory activities such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Accurately complete required documentation and perform data entry in inventory systems.
- Support packaging and preparation of materials for internal movement or shipment.
- Use material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to move materials.
- Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cGMP requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members and support other warehouse activities as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience required; valid forklift license preferred.
- Mathematical skills including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Demonstrates appropriate safety consciousness and follows Environmental, Health, and Safety rules/regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Associate's degree.
- Experience in a GMP, FDA-regulated, biotechnology environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices; Kan Ban, JIT, FEFO.
