Job Description:
The UX Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered software experiences across advisor-facing platforms, including desktop and responsive mobile applications. This role works within a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, and content specialists to create impactful digital experiences that help users achieve their financial goals. The position focuses on applying foundational UX principles, executing high-fidelity designs, and ensuring effective documentation and project tracking.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Facilitate collaborative design sessions including sketching, ideation, and concept development.
Lead design reviews, drive decisions, and align stakeholders on design direction.
Create user-centered design solutions considering both advisor and end-user experiences.
Translate established design systems and patterns into consistent, scalable solutions.
Visualize concepts through wireframes, prototypes, sketches, and detailed documentation.
Set project expectations, prioritize design activities, and manage timelines effectively.
Maintain and track design schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Communicate project status, risks, and updates with cross-functional teams.
Conduct high-quality design execution, deliverables, and QA reviews.
Support and participate in user research and usability testing efforts.
Continuously improve design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Provide constructive feedback and support to other UX team members.
Adapt to feedback and iterate designs based on new insights and requirements.
Demonstrate strong empathy for users and advocate for user needs in all design decisions.

Must Have:
Strong expertise in foundational UX design principles and methodologies.
Experience creating and executing high-fidelity designs.
Proficiency in design tools for wireframing and prototyping.
Experience with documentation and project tracking tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
Experience working within design systems and applying design standards consistently.
Strong problem-solving skills with a user-first mindset.

Nice to Have:
Experience working on financial services or advisor platforms.
Exposure to user research methodologies and usability testing.
Familiarity with iterative design and agile development environments.
Passion for continuous learning in UX design trends, tools, and best practices.
