Job Description:
We are seeking a UX Designer to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary design team focused on building high-quality software experiences across advisor services platforms. This role emphasizes user-centered design, high-fidelity execution, and strong collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. The position requires balancing functionality with simplicity while delivering impactful digital experiences for users managing their financial goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate collaborative design sessions including ideation, sketching, and workshops.
  • Lead design reviews and drive design decisions with cross-functional teams.
  • Create user-centered design solutions across desktop and responsive mobile platforms.
  • Translate established design systems and patterns into scalable solutions.
  • Visualize concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Maintain and update design documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Define project expectations, timelines, and prioritize design activities.
  • Track progress and communicate project status with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct design QA and ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with researchers to incorporate user insights into design decisions.
  • Continuously improve design processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to other UX team members.
  • Adapt to feedback and evolving requirements while maintaining design integrity.
  • Demonstrate empathy by understanding user needs and improving experiences accordingly.

Must Have:
  • Strong expertise in foundational UX design principles.
  • Proven experience in executing high-fidelity UI/UX designs.
  • Experience with documentation and project tracking tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design documentation.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in iterative, agile environments.
  • Ability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working on financial services or advisor platforms.
  • Exposure to design systems and scalable component libraries.
  • Experience supporting or participating in UX research activities.
  • Familiarity with both desktop and responsive/mobile design.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
