Developer IV Full Stack Developer
SYSTEMTECis seeking aDeveloper IV - Full Stack Developer for ahybridopportunity in Columbia, SC. Candidate will join a highly collaborative enterprise development team responsible for designing, building, and supporting complex full-stack business applications. This role spans the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, hands-on coding, testing, deployment, and production support within a modern, API-driven architecture environment.

Required Qualifications of the Developer IV - Full Stack Developer:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or 6+ years of relevant professional IT experience; or Associates degree plus 2+ years of experience.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in application development, systems development, or enterprise IT roles.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive and accessible web application development.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs using Java and/or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Strong understanding of multi-tier application architecture and enterprise system design principles.
- Experience working in Agile environments with participation in sprint planning, standups, and code reviews.
- Ability to complete required credit check during the pre-screening process.
- Experience with API gateways or enterprise integration platforms.
- Exposure to mixed enterprise environments such as mainframe, midrange, or legacy system integrations.
- Prior experience in a mentoring or technical leadership capacity within a development team.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex enterprise-grade applications and system enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to define and refine application functionality.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Support production systems, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
