Systems Engineer (MSP)
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, solutions-oriented System Engineer to join our growing Managed Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an MSP environment, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and takes pride in seeing projects through to completion while supporting the bigger vision of the company.
This is more than just a support role. We are looking for someone who can think critically, communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams, and work alongside Project Managers and senior engineers to ensure projects are delivered successfully, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.
The right individual understands how their work impacts the customer experience, operational maturity, and long-term growth of the organization.Project Execution & Collaboration
  • Work closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to execute client projects successfully
  • Assist with:
    • M365 migrations
    • Azure implementations
    • Server deployments
    • Firewall and network upgrades
    • Endpoint refresh projects
    • Backup and disaster recovery implementations
    • Security remediation initiatives
  • Help ensure projects stay aligned with scope, timelines, and customer expectations
  • Communicate blockers, risks, and recommendations proactively
Client Experience & Ownership
  • Build strong relationships with clients through professionalism, communication, and accountability
  • Understand the customer's environment and business goals
  • Take ownership of issues and follow through until resolution
  • Help clients feel confident and supported during both support incidents and projects
Operational Alignment
  • Support company standards, processes, documentation, and service delivery expectations
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes
  • Help identify recurring issues, technical gaps, or process improvements
  • Understand and contribute to the company's long-term vision and growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
Technical Experience
  • 5-7+ years of IT experience, preferably within an MSP environment
  • Strong experience supporting:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Azure / Entra ID
    • Active Directory
    • Windows Server
    • Hyper-V and/or VMware
    • Networking fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls)
    • Endpoint management platforms
    • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with RMM, PSA, and documentation platforms
Soft Skills & Mindset
  • Strong problem-solving mentality with the ability to think critically under pressure
  • Ability to balance support tickets, project work, and customer communication effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-driven and accountable with a desire to grow technically and professionally
  • Able to understand the "why behind projects and operational initiatives, not just complete tasks
