BIM COORDINATOR CONDITIONAL / BIM PROJECTS
WORK LOCATION: IRVINE, CA

Role summary:
Leads BIM coordination on K-12 projects that require 3D model coordination. Manages composite model development from Level 200 (design team handoff) up to Level 400 in coordination with Prime Trade Contractors. Runs weekly clash detection and coordination meetings.
Qualifications:

• BIM coordination experience
• NavisWorks proficiency
• REVIT or similar BIM platforms
• LOD 400 modeling experience
• MEP coordination and clash detection experience
• TK-12 school facility experiences preferred
  

Key responsibilities:

• Implement and facilitate the BIM program with trade contractors and design team
• Prepare composite coordination drawings incorporating trade contractor 3D shop drawings
• Use NavisWorks (or similar) to compile composite 3D models
• Run weekly coordination meetings, fly-throughs, and clash detection exercises
• Bring coordinated model from LOD 200 (design) up to LOD 400 (trade contractor coordination)
• Maintain clash log; resolve coordination issues with trades
• Turn over final NavisWorks files to the District at project closeout
