Cloud Engineer

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our technical team to help design, build, and prove foundational data-centric capabilities

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 7 years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering.
• Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.
• Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development.
• Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
• Familiarity with large complex system design
• Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus.
• Shell scripting experience.
• Linux environment experience.
• Financial services experience preferred.

You will join the Data Platforms team where you will be a collaborate with a multi-functional team of architects, cloud authorities, operational leads, and members of the team to Define, Build, Refine, and Evolve a resilient data platform in support of Defined Contribution Participant Recordkeeping. Our mission is to Build robust data-centric infrastructure capabilities enabling capability teams to focus on functional capability reinvention.
