Quality Engineer
Overview We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations by identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is fully onsite and plays a critical part in ensuring products and processes meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is hands on, analytical, and comfortable working cross functionally in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Identify non quality factors and proactively address potential issues before they occur through preventive solutions
- Resolve manufacturing quality issues impacting customers using containment, corrective, and preventive actions
- Plan and execute actions to ensure products and services meet contractual and customer quality requirements
- Conduct process audits and analyze results in accordance with established quality systems and methods
- Own quality performance for one or more manufacturing sectors
- Ensure Process Control Plans are applied and aligned with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Lead Process Audits and Process FMEA activities
- Create, maintain, and deploy quality control documentation, including ensuring proper training and adherence
- Manage deviations and derogations related to quality requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within assigned areas
- Perform root cause analysis and structured problem solving for quality issues
- Participate in short interval management activities on production lines
- Provide quality input for new product or process evolutions and support control and capability implementation
- Serve as the local quality expert for assembled products within the assigned sector
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent education
- 1 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with quality improvement tools, techniques, and models
- Understanding of statistical quality techniques and data analysis
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite manufacturing setting
- Hands on experience with process audits and FMEA
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience working closely with production and operations teams
