Cloud Data Engineer
Location- Hybrid In Office 3 days a week. Preference to Minneapolis, Denver, Brookfield, Atlanta, and IrvingSalary Range $60/hr to $65/hr on W2Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud/Data Engineer. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies to design and implement data solutions at an enterprise scale.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Hands-on experience with data lakehouse patterns (raw, cleaned/enhanced, curated/trusted, consumption), optimized storage formats, metadata-driven ingestion, and analytics-ready data models.
- Expertise in real-time and batch data ingestion architectures (Kafka/Event Hubs, Spark, Delta Lake, etc.), including leading design and management of tools/processes/services for comprehensive data ingestion and integration.
- Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks, including data lineage, cataloging, business glossaries, and data quality controls.
- Technical Skills: AWS or Azure Data Platform Services, POSTGRES/ORACLE/DB2, COLLIBRA, DATABRICKS, DELTA LAKE, PYTHON, SNOWFLAKE, ETL TOOLS (SPARK, ETC), CI/CD PIPELINES SUPPORTING DATA LAKEHOUSE.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Experience with BI, reporting, customer extracts, data science, and other use cases at enterprise scale.
- Ensures end-to-end traceability from source to consumption, improving data trust, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and implement data solutions using data lakehouse patterns and optimized storage formats.
- Lead the design and management of tools/processes/services for data ingestion and integration.
- Maintain data governance frameworks and ensure data quality controls are in place.
