Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead daily/weekly planning meetings with production to set asset availability, prioritize work orders, and align on upcoming maintenance activities
Develop short- and long-term maintenance plans, including preventive, predictive, and corrective work; optimize schedules for capacity, lead times, and cost
Review, prioritize, and convert maintenance requests into work orders; confirm labor, materials, tools, permits, and asset access
Analyze backlog and open work orders; maintain appropriate backlog levels and publish performance reports
Maintain and update CMMS (SAP PM) data; support system improvements and user training
Evaluate job requirements with operations, engineering, and maintenance; determine best execution methods
Create detailed job plans including scope, sequencing, labor hours, materials, tools, external resources, and cost estimates
Prepare and review job packages with supervisors to ensure clear execution strategy and readiness for scheduling
Track schedule compliance and analyze labor efficiency for completed work
Review work order closeouts for accuracy in labor, materials, and documentation
Coordinate contractors and external resources for planned maintenance and shutdowns
Plan and support minor and major system shutdowns
Partner with reliability/maintenance engineering to develop procedures for new equipment based on OEM guidance and asset performance
Support mechanical integrity programs and coordinate required inspections/testing
Assist with MRO inventory management and annual maintenance budgeting
Provide monthly KPI reporting on planning and scheduling performance

Primary Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, engineering degree preferred
- Experience and deep knowledge on CMMs (SAP PM).
- Min 8 years experience in chemical, food, and pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Min 8 years experience in inventory control and management
- Min 8 years of maintenance planning experience with large rotating equipment
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical/chemical plant equipment, parts and supplies.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Physical work environment requires working outdoors during inclement weather, in and around production equipment and spare parts warehouse at high levels.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach, push, pull, twist with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, for extend periods of time and on regular basis, or crawl; talk, hear and smell
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- The employee must frequently utilize forklift trucks for movement of heavy material
- Ability to be on call as necessary and provide technical assistance as required, including evenings, holidays and weekends, via telephonic or on-site work.
