Mainframe DB2 Developer
Introduction
This role is a potential contract to hire and will require resources that do not require sponsorship now or in the future. The target start date is ASAP.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of application development and database administration skill set with Db2 on mainframes
- Strong Db2 SQL skills
- Experience with DB2 utilities, materialized query tables, REXX, JCL, and Excel functions
- Knowledge of Python
- Working knowledge of replication with classic data capture for Db2
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Service Now
- Familiarity with backup governance processes
- Experience with audit processes
- Enhance application code to implement look ahead logic for GDG databases at all production plexes
- Assist backup governance team in their interactions with AIT managers on 31 days retention of datasets
- Replace current CMDB extracts from Remedy to Service Now and enhance reconciliation process using data from Service Now
- Provide production support for daily jobs covering CMDB feeds, MRA3 related backup inventory reports, and 31 day retention reports
- Perform audit prescribed checks thoroughly on all reports before sending to the Audit governance team
