Lab Systems Admin
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vendor onboarding and identity management, creating and validating Client identities, LDAP accounts, and ServiceNow requests for system access.
- Support system rollouts by setting up account security, verifying vendor access, and facilitating instrument setup and qualification activities.
- Ensure systems are patched, validated, and aligned with IT and QA standards.
- Manage IT ticket requests for laboratory and production systems, triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Provision and deactivate user accounts across systems, ensuring compliance with access control policies and segregation of duties.
- Execute periodic and annual access reviews, coordinating with system owners and QA to identify and remediate discrepancies.
- Maintain laboratory computer system endpoints for compliance and security, develop and publish knowledge articles, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth system operations.
- Coordinate onboarding of external vendor contacts for system access.
- Validate and create Client identities and LDAP accounts for service engineers.
- Submit and manage ServiceNow requests for vendor access to Empower and related systems.
- Oversee account security setup system during rollouts.
- Confirm vendor access for instrument setup and qualification activities.
- Ticket triage and management through email or Service now queue.
- System troubleshooting.
- Provision and deactivate user accounts across relevant systems.
- Maintain compliance with access control policies and segregation of duties.
- Execute scheduled access reviews to validate user permissions.
- Coordinate with system owners and QA to ensure timely completion and remediation of discrepancies.
- Maintain and monitor laboratory computer endpoints for compliance and security.
- Ensure systems are patched, validated, and aligned with IT and QA standards.
- Develop and publish knowledge articles for system processes, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Keep documentation updated to support user self-service and audit readiness.
- Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors for technical and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Analytical Development, IT, and vendor teams to ensure smooth onboarding and system configuration.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience supporting system rollouts, including account security setup, vendor access verification, and instrument setup and qualification activities.
- Strong background in IT ticket management, troubleshooting, and resolution for laboratory and production systems.
- Hands-on experience in user access management, including provisioning, deactivation, and maintaining compliance with access control policies and segregation of duties.
- Experience executing periodic and annual access reviews, coordinating with system owners and QA to remediate discrepancies and ensure audit readiness.
