Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Unix/Linux DBA with strong Shell scripting expertise and hands-on experience in distributed NoSQL database technologies, particularly Cassandra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, administering, and supporting emerging database platforms across development, performance, and production environments.
The role requires deep expertise in Unix/Linux administration, advanced Shell/Python scripting, and strong operational knowledge of distributed database cluster management, including node management, replication, consistency tuning, and multi-data-center configurations. Experience with high-volume production environments and DevOps automation tools such as Ansible and BladeLogic is highly preferred.
The candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and resolve complex technical issues proactively.

- 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration with advanced Shell scripting
- 3+ years of experience in NoSQL or distributed database technologies
- Strong understanding of Cassandra or similar distributed databases
- Experience in production support and database operations
Desired:
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, BladeLogic, etc.
- Experience with distributed databases like Cassandra, Redis, CockroachDB, SingleStore, TigerGraph
- Expertise in cluster management, replication, consistency tuning, and multi-DC setup
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
