Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $86.00 - $87.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Positions Contributions to Work Group
- Act as a Senior SDET, extending and enhancing the test automation framework using Java/JavaScript
- Take ownership of understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria to develop test strategies and plans
- Develop automated test cases using existing frameworks
Typical Task Breakdown:
- Develop test automation code to support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines
- Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks for scripting, execution, and result analysis
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onshore and offshore test engineers
- Train team members on creating, executing, analyzing, and maintaining automated regression suites
- Collaborate with Product Owners to resolve issues, enhancements, and understand functionality
- Develop automated scripts using tools such as Java, Karate, and JMeter
- Perform exploratory and manual testing as needed
- Apply best practices in testing methodologies and standards
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required
- 10+ years of experience in test automation and software testing
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong development experience in Java (35 years)
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (35 years), JBehave, or similar
- 8+ years of experience designing test automation frameworks
- Strong experience in testing REST APIs
- Proven ability to develop test scripts, test cases, and test data
- Proficiency in SQL or other relational databases
- 3+ years of performance testing using JMeter
- Experience with full-stack and third-party integration testing
- End-to-end system integration testing experience
Desired Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Experience with AWS Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD, and code review practices
- Experience with API gateways (e.g., Apigee)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
- Agile/Lean methodology experience (2+ years)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with load and performance testing
- Strong documentation skills
Soft Skills:
- Ability to adapt quickly in complex environments

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with developers and business stakeholders
