Robert Bosch is hiring a PLC Controls Technician in Florence, KY.As a PLC Controls Technician, you will design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-controlled systems using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, while supporting manufacturing operations through advanced diagnostics, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information: 2nd shift - Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm

Principal Responsibilities of the PLC Controls Technician

• Design, program, and maintain PLC systems in accordance with corporate standards
• Develop and support HMI applications for manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot complex equipment and automation issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Modify PLC programs and interface communications with industrial devices
• Diagnose and resolve issues with vision systems, including Cognex and Keyence
• Troubleshoot and maintain servo drive systems, particularly Rexroth and Siemens platforms
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Support mechanical troubleshooting and assist with general maintenance tasks as needed
• Identify programming issues and communicate findings to Controls Engineers
• Provide feedback to Engineering on recurring issues and opportunities for system improvements
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving technical skills
