TheProgram Supervisor provides supervision of Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff and is responsible for thecoordination, management and daily operations within one Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Baton Rouge.This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.

• Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of 7 Direct Support Professionals
• Staff scheduling
• Coordination of medical appointments for individuals supported in the program
• Monitoring inventory of the homes groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularly
• Tracking and documentation of receipts and expenditures
• Ensuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentation
• Ensuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehicles
• Regular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within home
• Provide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travel
• Ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, andmonitoredto the highest degree possible.
