Process Engineer

Job Description

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:

To ensure Twin Screw production efficiency through process design and development, and direct production support.

Specific Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Interact with the Quality and Tooling groups to resolve defects and mold issues.

• Develop, coordinate, and implement projects to improve efficiency and decrease scrap.

• Develop, design, and setup,processes, systems, workstations, and automation equipment.

• Troubleshoot,processes and system issues. Train lead people, setup people, and supervisors on systems.

• Interact with the Maintenance and Engineering groups to help troubleshoot,systems, develop preventive maintenance programs, and develop spare parts identification and systems.

• Develop work instructions for injection molding processes and systems and conduct training as appropriate.

• Monitor and audit injection molding systems for any non-conformances with the process.
• Lead Production Floor Team/Assign Responsibilities/Track Performance.
