Construction Superintendent

Job Description

AECOM Hunt has an immediate need for a Construction Superintendent with experience in Higher Education/Campus Projects, for our new project in Arlington, TX.

The successful candidate willlead field operations from mobilization through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction on complex, multiphase campus projects.

Job Duties:

• Lead all daytoday site activities for higher education projects, coordinating trades, logistics, and campus interface.
• Support our culture of safety and maintain quality control while meeting schedule and budget objectives.
• Serve as the primary field point of contact for clients, campus stakeholders, inspectors, and design partners.
• Plan lookahead schedules, sequence work, and manage daily coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage campus logistics: implement site access, pedestrian and traffic control, noise/vibration controls, and utility shutdown planning on occupied campuses.
• Manage punch lists.
• Coordinate building systems: supervise complex MEP, HVAC balancing, fire/life safety testing, and building automation integration.
• Administer the work: lead daily reports, RFIs, field memos, change order input, and asbuilt documentation; support cost and risk controls.
