Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:
Performs advanced manufacturing functions with increased independence. Responsible for the safe setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment. Supports production efficiency, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, with minimal supervisionInterpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to produce precision partsPerform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc.)Identify and troubleshoot minor machine or process issues and escalate as neededComplete work orders and accurately maintain all required production and quality documentationMonitor machine performance and make necessary offsets or adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyEnsure parts meet customer specifications and quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with 5S standardsHandle, package, and label finished goods according to customer and company requirementsAssist in training and mentoring Level 1 operators as directed by leadershipCollaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processesParticipate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiativesConduct daily review of production requirements and proactively address potential delaysRequired Skills/Abilities:
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and manufacturing principlesProficient in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretationAbility to make machine adjustments and perform basic troubleshootingStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetEffective problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks efficientlyStrong communication and teamwork skillsSolid math skills, including measurements and calculationsAbility to train and support less experienced operatorsEnglish proficiency (verbal and written)Completion of Go/No-Go Gauge Skills (Routsis) or equivalent.Completion of Basic Math for Molders (Routsis) or equivalent.Completion of Basic Blueprint Reading course group (Routsis) or equivalentCompletion of Intro to CNC Machines 201 (Tooling U)
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent demonstrated skill level
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
- Moderate to heavy physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work standing for extended periods of time and maintain dexterity when handling parts, tooling, components, etc.
- Ability to maintain repetitive motions without limitations
3rd Shift Hours: 9pm - 5:30am
Shifts begin on Sunday nights.
Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
