Job Description:
This position supports senior acquisition leadership in advancing innovative technologies into formal programs and operational deployment. The role is focused on bridging the gap between early-stage development and full-scale program execution, ensuring emerging capabilities are effectively transitioned into sustainable solutions.
You will work closely with leadership, program offices, and technical teams to evaluate transition opportunities, assess program readiness, and coordinate integration efforts across multiple initiatives. This is an on-site role requiring collaboration with stakeholders across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate program portfolios to identify integration risks, gaps, and transition opportunities
  • Partner with product managers and program teams to assess technical maturity and transition readiness
  • Support planning and execution of acquisition milestones, reviews, and decision events
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and decision support materials
  • Coordinate efforts across acquisition, engineering, and operational stakeholders
  • Align modernization and innovation initiatives with acquisition strategies and program goals
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of relevant experience for SME-level consideration (10+ years for senior-level candidates)
  • Experience supporting major defense acquisition programs, urgent operational needs, or adaptive acquisition frameworks
  • Strong understanding of acquisition lifecycle processes and program office operations
  • Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • DAWIA certification in Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field
  • Background as an acquisition professional, program integrator, or operational leader
  • Experience with rapid capability development or technology prototyping initiatives
  • Prior work within Program Executive Offices or headquarters-level organizations
  • Familiarity with transitioning capabilities within defense environments
