We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team in Attleboro, MA, as a Prototype Assembler. This role involves building and assembling prototypes of new products, devices, or systems based on design specifications.
General Responsibilities- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand assembly requirements.
- Assemble various components, including electronic, mechanical, and structural parts, to create functional prototypes.
- Perform soldering of electronic components and wiring of circuits according to specifications.
- Conduct preliminary tests to ensure that the prototype operates as intended.
- Make necessary adjustments and refinements to models and equipment based on testing results and feedback.
- Inspect components and assembled prototypes for defects, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during assembly or testing.
- Perform necessary adjustments or repairs to prototypes based on test results and feedback.
- Relevant work experience of at least 6 or more years.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
