Assembly Technician / Packer

Location: Statesville, NC

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
1st shift
6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional OT

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians / Packers to join a growing manufacturing team in Statesville, NC. This position is responsible for assembling products, performing quality inspections, and preparing finished goods for shipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble products and components according to work instructions and specifications using hand tools and assembly equipment

Operate and maintain assembly line equipment to ensure efficient production flow

Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify products meet required specifications

Identify and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors

Package finished products for shipment and prepare orders for delivery

Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection

Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow efficiency

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and work on feet for 810 hour shifts

Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday

Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 35 pounds

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, assembly, packing, or production experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording production information

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Good communication and teamwork skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and safety awareness
