Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client in Canfield, OH. This role will work closely with a team of engineers to provide mechanical design, analysis, and technical support for a variety of industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external clients while supporting projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop mechanical engineering designs and provide technical support.

  
  


• 
  

  Work within established project schedules and deadlines to ensure timely project completion.

  
  


• 
  

  Review and apply approved design criteria, codes, and industry standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze project scope and clearly define engineering deliverables.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and review engineering calculations related to mechanical system design.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare technical reports outlining design criteria, equipment analysis, and engineering recommendations.

  
  


• 
  

  Review drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate with clients to review project progress, discuss technical issues, and coordinate deliverables.

  
  


• 
  

  Travel to client sites as needed to attend meetings, collect field information, and support project activities.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Professional licensure not required).

  
  


• 
  

  3 5 years of experience applying mechanical engineering principles in an industrial environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling software.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working within heavy industrial or manufacturing facilities is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
