Experience Requirement: 3-7 yrs of min experience. Candidate must be familiar with gas turbine hardware (aero or aeroderivative) part(s), critical material and handling requirements. Direct working knowledge or evidence of indirect working knowledge tied to an equivalent role supporting aero/aeroderivative engine hardware or manufacturing process.
Job Summary: The aerospace engine Material Stores
Inventory Specialist will operate in a controlled environment, receiving, storing, handling aerospace engine hardware and related components. This role ensures that high-value and safety-critical parts are properly maintained, tracked, and packaged in support of engine hardware operations across multiple facilities. The Specialist will leverage inventory management systems to maintain accuracy and compliance while adhering to all inventory, handling and storage standard operating procedures (SOP).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record aerospace engine hardware and components.
Ensure proper handling, packaging, and storage of sensitive and critical parts in accordance with company and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as directed by the materials team.
Perform physical inventory counts; reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, Safety) and quality procedures.
Collaborate with material, engineering, and operations teams to operational schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and verify aerospace engine components and related materials.
Handle hardware safely to avoid damage or contamination.
Pack and store parts properly using approved procedures.
Conduct inventory counts and assist with audits.
Maintain organization of the tool/parts room, at both temporary and new locations.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in aerospace, gas-turbine engine components, tool room, or parts handling role.
Knowledge of material handling and part criticality.
General familiarity with inventory control systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Trade-school or associates degree preferred.
