Currently, we are seeking an Escrow Officer / Closer or a strong Escrow Assistant ready to grow into a Closer role to join our Granbury, Texas office serving Hood County. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in guiding clients through one of the most important transactions of their lives.
TheEscrow Officer / Closer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Manage escrow transactions from contract receipt through closing and funding.
- Review contracts and closing instructions for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title examiners.
- Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and closing documents.
- Conduct closing appointments and explain documents to buyers and sellers.
- Ensure proper execution of documents and compliance with underwriting requirements.
- Coordinate post-closing activities and funding.
- Provide excellent service while building strong relationships within the local real estate community.
- Collaborate with title examiners, escrow assistants, and operations staff to ensure smooth transactions.
- Experience as an Escrow Officer, Closer, or Escrow Assistant.
- Strong understanding of the real estate escrow and closing process.
- Knowledge of title commitments, settlement statements, and closing documentation.
- Proficiency with escrow software.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
- Experience working as an Escrow Officer or Closer.
- Escrow Assistant ready to grow into a Closer role.
- Established relationships within the local real estate community.
Salary Range: $55-75K annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
